Who are The Jazzberries?

The Jazzberries formed in September 1996, drawing together some of the best young talents on the London jazz scene. Our players have studied at music colleges in Britain and America and have already played with famous names such as Ronnie Scott, Lee Konitz, Dave Cliff, Jim Mullen and Digby Fairweather.

In the past few years, members of The Jazzberries have appeared at top London jazz venues including Ronnie Scott’s and The Hundred Club, provided a regular residency for several London Cafe Flo restaurants, as well as performing at 10 Downing Street, the Savoy, the
Royal Albert Hall, the Barbican, the Henley Festival and Buckingham Palace.

The band features between 2 and 8 players, drawn from a pool of talented young professionals playing piano, double bass, drums, saxophone, trumpet, guitar, viola and vibes, with a female singer.
